My feet are swelling so badly, and my back is killing me from carrying this baby around!
Does anyone know how to get rid of these symptoms? Please give me some advice!

Put your feet up - that should help the swelling. As far as the back pain, if you find a remedy, let me know!

UGH I so hear you on the feet and back thing!! I sprained my right foot about 8 weeks ago and it was swelling bad enough due to that... than in the past 2 weeks the other one has ballooned up.. so bad I was checked for pre eclampsia. Thank goodness all the blood work came out ok. My doc suggested that when I lay down to elevate my feet higher than my heart ie: when laying on the couch, put feet up on the back of the couch. Ice and cold cloths also help for a short amount of time. Of course as soon as I stand up for longer than 5 min they swell up again. I swear I have hobbit feet without the hair! As for the back, try sleeping with a pillow between your knees or stand in the shower with the shower head pointed at the sore spot. Unfortunately I can't give you any more help on that... I guess it will all be worth it though when we hold our beautiful babies in our arms :)

Asked my doctor about the back pain, and he just said that the best thing that we can do is put an ice pack on our back, then switch to a heating pad after about 15 minutes! Worth a shot ladies!

Devils claw was prescribed to me by my homeapath last week. I looked it up on the net and found this... very effective in treating lover back pain, as well as digestive peoble,s, loss of appetite and the treatment of oain during and after labour. Well obviously only part of this is relevent but i take 2 drops once a week on a Tuesday. I had back pain with my first pregnancy he's 13 i also had swollen feet. I think i had swollen feet because i ran around nervously in the last few weeks of preg to avoid tinking about the birth and also to due to nesting instinct(getting house ready) i was made to put feet up by partners nan and this seemed to work alot. Relax hopefully you are neardly due! You can get a lower back pillow its like a wedge they sell them in mothercare for 10. I live in England. Get your partner to iron his own shirts thats what made my back hurt. And use good posture basically put like a board behid your back with a pillow on it so even though you not sitting up straight your leaning but you back is straight. Get someone to rub your back and rest those weiry feet.

I had swollen feet early in my pregnancy(6 weeks along) it was so bad that if i pushed on the swollen spots the indention from my finger would stay there for about 5 minutes (pitting edema) I make sure I drink my full 64 ounces of water a day, decreased me salt, and elevate my feet whenever I can. It has helped a ton!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
