I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. It can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation. you will usually experience implantation a week or more before you would expect your period, depending on when you ovulate. Does your OB not have an emergency on call Dr you can call? If not, I would go ahead and go to the ER. Just to be safe. I had preterm labor with my daughter and had I not gone to the ER when my dr said it was braxton hicks she would have been born at 22 weeks and may not have made it. Instead, she was 2 weeks late!! I'll be praying for you, let us know how things go!
Some women get their periods while pregnant, and the baby is just fine. I also read that sometimes the progesterone level isn't high enough to keep your body from shedding a small amount of uterine lining, like if you were having your period. It doesn't harm anything.
There are many harmless reasons for a little spotting during pregnancy, so just do your best to relax as long as you're not having pain with it.
