I'm having a lot of pelvic pain - that is aching and soreness in the front of my pelvis, between my hipbones, from the bottom of my belly, extending down into my inner thighs. It hurts when I walk or shift my weight from leg to leg, like the muscles taht move your legs forward and side to side have been pulled. My pubic bone is also sore to the touch. Moving in bed hurts, and sliding in a sitting position hurts too. I would say this pain can get up to a 5 or so on a scale of 1 to 10. Its not severe, but certainly uncomfortable, and has gotten worse over the last week or so.
I have my next appt on the 28th and I'm going to talk to the dr about it then. (Oh! I'm just starting my 20th week) I'd just tough it out, but my husband and I are on vacation with our family and I want to be able to enjoy it and not feel like an invalid holding everyone back because I have to walk so slowly cuz it hurts. As we got off the plane, there was a huge collection of wheelchairs, so we used one! I was glad that we were able to move at a faster pace, but it was kind of embarrassing. And of course, my husband had a ball teasing that he was going to run me into things. *LOL* However, there was no way I would ahve been able to walk the entire distance from the gate to the car without it. Its the worst feeling!! If my belly was HUGE and I was obviously pregnant, it would have made me feel a little better, but I still kind of just look fat instead of pregnant, so it made me feel self conscious, like I was just an obese woman who couldn't walk.
I'm trying to figure out ways to strengthen the muscles in this area, but I have no idea what to do. I did an online search for pelvic exercises and all taht really came up was kegels. I'll have to try some different searches. I remember seeing that there are a few people here who have that condition where your pelvis separates more than it should, and I'm wondering if this is the start of that. If it is, I'd love some pointers on how to keep it from worsening and how to feel better.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I discovered tylenol helps a little yesterday. Maybe my mom and I can go shopping and get one of those support belts. Where do they sell them? At maternity clothing stores?
