Ever since a discussion was started a few days ago about bracton hicks i have been wondering if all these feelings that i have sometimes, that i assumed were the baby moving around, is actually braxton hicks contractions. I get these feelings in my upper belly, just below my chest...it gets really tight for a few seconds...sometimes longer...then it stops. When you put your hand on the area, you can feel a hard spot, which made me think its the baby in some sortof position that makes me feel him more. Its actually happening right now. And my husband felt it and said its definately the baby cuz it feels like little little kicks or punches or something. I do tend to read something and then think i have it, so maybe i am just being paranoid...none of it hurts at all, though i do become very short of breath when it happens, but lately i get short of breath easily, which i hear is normal?
