I just wondered if anyone else has ever had to take any medication during their pregnancy, I suffered a very debilitating back and neck injury and have been prescribed pain medicine by my ob, because of the pain my Blood pressure was also elevated, the blood pressure medicine they put me on has shown to have way worse effects on the baby then the pain medicine, the blood pressure medicine has caused birth defects, the pain medicine has been shown to only cause withdraw if you take it up to and during delivery, I have been told by my primary that my pain is directly effecting my bp, which that has always been that way, I just don't know what to do or think, has anyone else taken any pain medicine and delievered a healthy baby, They have prescribed it to me to take several times a week, I don't know anymore the pain is so bad I can't take it, but the guilt of taking any medicine almost is unbearable as well
