I am 35 weeks and 4 days. I am dilated 2 cm as of right now. I have this pain in pelvis that is horrible. When I walk it feels like my bones are gonna break. Me and my boyfriend did have sex last night, so I am thinking that could be the reason why. It wasn't rough or anything. If my bladder is kind of full it hurts even worse. Like when I am going to the bathroom, it feels like a brick is about to fall out. Is this something that I should talk to my doctor about? I took some tylenol, but it hasn't done anything as of yet. This is my second pregnancy, but my first was nothing like this. Once I got over morning sickness the next thing I felt was labor pains. This pregnancy is so different. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It never hurts to talk to the doctor about any pain that isn't going away with certain remidies. If your having problems while going to the bathroom, that usually isn't normal even at your stage! I hear you on the first was different than the 2nd time around. I feel that way completely to where I feel like its harder this time around body wise than before! But they do say thats to be expected. Try a heat pad if your joints or muscles are achy. I always safe better safe than sorry by giving the doc a call! Let us know how it goes!

I would definitely discuss this with your doctor. I am going through the same thing. I am not dilated yet but the pain you are talking about...I have. I am 36 weeks and 2 days. My doctor told me that the pain I was feeling was because even though I am not dilating, the pelvic bones are slowly starting to spread to get ready for the big day. Try sitting on a heating pad. Not too hot though and see if that helps. Good luck and I feel for you :)

I talked to my doctor and she put me on pelvic rest for the night. I had to go straight home and put my feet up and don't get up for anything except the bathroom. No intercourse especially. It took a couple of hours, but it worked. She said that if it still was bad in the morning, then to come into the office. I still feel the pressure this am, but no where as bad as yesterday. Thanks for all of your responses.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
