I am 37 weeks and my Dr. said yesterday that my BP is a little high and that I am 2 centimeters dialated already. I have been having slight contractions since Friday, but all day today have had an ache in my lower back and find it hard to walk at times. I am still having contractions, but nothing I can't handle. They are about 20- 30 minutes apart. My question is, how do I know when to go to the hospital if my water has not broke yet? I have been told that some women don't experience severe contractions and then their water breaks and the baby is here. What would you all suggest?
