Im 31 weeks 3 days pregnant and I saw my doctor today. She had just got the results in of my glucose test and it came back positive for diabetes... I have an appointment with a gestational diabetes clinic in 11 days to teach me about testing my sugar, meeting with a dietician, doing an ultrasound to see how big the baby is & learning how to control the diabetes and wtv else but I dont know what to do in the mean time. The doctor told me that they usually induce women with GDM at 37 weeks because there is a higher risk of still borns in women with GMD if they pregnancy goes past 38 weeks... and i havent been able to find any information on it except to watch what I eat and that the only risks for the baby is that they could be too big & i have to do a c-section, or they could have jaundice so Im really confused and a little worried since I have to wait so long before I get the proper care that i need.. Does anyone have any advice please it would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance...

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
