I know i've left it TOTALLY later than i was meant to...its been a work in progress since week 35 though, and bubb's things have been ready since week 36!! Its just me, i'm a slack thing.
Have only really made progress on packing my things for the hospital today, and i'm due exactly two weeks from tomorrow.
Any suggestions on things i should pack would be really helpful! i don't want to get there and realize i've forgotten something important!
thanks ladies! x

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
cameras
tooth brush and toothpaste
clean underwear (comfy)
fresh clothes ( a few options)
fav. pillow
car seat
receiving blanket
thats all i can think of right now!
bag full of change for the vending machines
other than that, the other girls got it pretty much covered :)
At our hospital you have to have all electronics checked out before hand, so I might call ahead about the cell phone chargers (I have just been super diligent about keeping mine chraged all the time)
Do you have a rice sock or any labor items? make sure you pack things that you think you might want for comfort during labor!
OMG 2 weeks!! that will be here before you know it!
Good Luck!
Other than that.... something comfy to wear home... nursing bra, socks, one outfit for the baby, an infant car seat, your own shampoo, conditioner and toothbrush and toothpaste. Camera, videocam, chargers (as everyone already recommended). Trust me, you won't want to stay in the hospital that long. My first visit I brought all this stuff and it was a waste. I couldn't wait to get out of there. The hospital has the maxi pads, etc you will need. And everything you will need for the baby (except photo op outfit for trip home).
During labor.... I just wanted my epidural. I watched TV in my labor and delivery room, talked to my husband and visiting friends, sucked on ice chips and tried to sleep. No time or desire to read ... the TV was more for background noise to keep my mind off my labor. If you prefer music, bring your ipod or cds.
Good luck!
