Hi all. I am trying different things for getting my Omega-3 since I am currently adverse to fish. My hubby found out from my midwife that I can take Flax Seed Oil in caplet form. So, he looked everywhere, finally found a natural one, and I took one this morning. Problem is, I then read the contra indications and it said "Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding." And yet some of the bottles with the exact same stuff say safe for pregnancy. Anybody have any ideas on this? I can't take the fish ones because when I burp (which happens a lot lately) I can taste them and it makes me nauseous.

sweetie.. you will find that with any herbs, supplements, ect. anymore. I would ask your dr. about it. I ran into the same thing when I decided to take spiralina and wheatgrass. My dr. said if I was worried about it, take them three times a week... of course that was because of the vitamin A and how there just aren't enough studies on it. Omega 3s are wonderful for anxiety and even depression, also. I personally put flax seeds on and in everything. Do all the online studying you can and if you still aren't sure, ask your OB. So you think it just says that since herbal supplements aren't actual drugs and therefore not covered by the FDA? I will do some research. Thank you. I feel somewhat better.

I've had walnut cravings for much of this pregnancy, and I know they have some omega-3's. I just eat a handful or 2 a day right out of the bag.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
