I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
REAL CONTRACTIONS:
Regular, Get stronger as time goes on, Get closer together, Do not go away, Usually start in the back and travel to the front.
BRAXTON HICKS:
Irregular, Short in length, Do not get longer, stronger, or closer together; Go away after a few minutes, and Usually are located in the front part of your abdomen.
While these pains are going on try doing these:
*Time the contractions (time from the START of one contraction to the START of the next one).
*Take a short walk (take someone with you).
*Take a shower.
*Rest on your left side.
If the contractions keep coming after you do one or more of these things, you are probably in true labor and they are real contractions.
That is a paper a nurse gave me and I hope I have helped you some. Good luck :D
