Hello there... I am about 21 weeks pregnant and I have already started having problems with having sharp pains in my butt. My doctor says it is my sciatic nerve. She talked to me about seeing a chiropractor or physical therapy. I am debating about them both. I really want to go the chiropractor (not the one that snaps you...the one that uses that activator)but I don't know of anyone who has done it before and if it has actually helped. I could try physical therapy but since I am on pelvic rest and can't exercise I don't know what other help they can give other than a massage and stretching. My pain occurs when I walk or stand for about 20min and once I sit down for about 15min it is better.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get my back cracked!! My sciatic nerve pain never goes away though, I have been told the only cure for that is delivery. Good luck!
