I am 34 years old over weight.I had an operation last year an ectopic and so i get really ache stomach muschles and have to stay in alot more now. I got these pains a few months ago but they got better and i could go out like maybe 5 or 6 days a week and rest the rest of the time. I also had a week pelvic floor when i was first pregnant and so until i realised what it was and that i needed to do pelvic floor exercises to get it back up i was terifed that my womb was going to fall out. I use to jog for half an hour and run for half an hour twice a week, walk for over an hour per day some days and i eat healthy meals well 99% of them. I eat lots of fruite, veg have cut out alot of junk snacks in my diet due to them causing me anxiety and am currently taking herbal medicine to help where medication for mental health problems use to. I am glad i am pregannt but am not enjoying this pregnancy much at all any old other old fogies out ther or over wight people who can relate i am only 24/25 weeks gone now.

a good way to keep the wieght off is to avoid excessive eating like whole meatloafs and try not adding butter tho things that dont need it. Iam enjoying preganncy later in life and think it is a great time since I am more settled into my life. I cant help you with the weight thing though since im having twins and I know that you gain weight in pregnancy. Also I wasn't over weight to start so I dont exactly know how to relate to that part of yuor post. Hope this helps

I can honestly say that no woman of any age or size enjoys the thought of gaining weight. As for while your pregnant, weight should be the furthest of your worries because the majority of the weight you are gaining is for all what goes with that baby! Watching the scale and worrying about what your weight and body was like before you got pregnant shouldn't ever be compared. The nice this is, there are remedies for after your done having the baby to loose weight, which all the weight your gaining now won't all still be there after a few wks of giving birth. I would say if your having a hard time adjusting to your weight speak with your doctor because no one can give you any tips better than a medical professional. The best thing they say though is to eat a balanced diet. You obiviously can't work out agressivly but try pregnancy yoga which can make your mind and body feel better. Sounds like if your struggling with weight you need to talk with your doctor who knows you better than a pregnancy board.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
