A few weeks back I was advised that I failed the 1 hour glucose test. My sugar level after 1 hr was 142 drinking 50m of glucola (2 points above range). I went in last week for the 3 hr test and my results were all in range. Yay! Right? I am relieved. However, my paranoia has kicked in. At the 1 hour mark my sugar level was 122 drinking 100m of glucola (twice as much) Seem strange to anyone that the difference in results is pretty big? I fasted for 12 hrs for both. I have no experience with this, but I am surprised how different the results after 1 hour could be. Tell me I have nothing to worry about

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
