Hello everyone. I don't post that often, but lately I've been feeling rather worried. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have an amnio scheduled to check and see if my baby's lungs are mature at 36 weeks and 5 days. I was wondering if any other ladies on here have done the amnio for lung maturity and what was their experience? Was the baby ok after the amnio? Did it hurt? I'm a bit nervous about the needle, but mostly about getting my daughter here alive and safe. The doctor's say the risk of the amnio is minimal at this point, and that given my previous loss at 32 weeks it is riskier to keep this baby inside of me logner than necessary, but to be honest any risk scares me. I would appreciate hearing from anyone else who is going through this/has gone through this too.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
