I went to my doctors today to try and get some treatment for the terrible PMS I am suffering from. Last month, before my period, I had the most horrendous migraine and I couldn't cope with anything. I felt as if my personality had been completely transformed by hormonal changes and it's getting worse as I get older. I explained this to my doctor and she snapped back at me that she doesn't believe in PMS! What I am to do? She even questioned whether I really had a migraine after I explained the severity of my symptoms. Eventually she issued me a presciption for a migraine tablet you can buy over the counter. I just don't know where to go to get proper treatment. I also suffer from anxiety/depression.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
If you are depressed and suffer from anxiety you need to talk to someone that will help you and maybe you need medication for that.
I would say a change in dr is needed otherwise you are not going to get help that you need.
If you need to talk just let me know.
Take care,
Lou
PMS is very real and you need to find a doctor who accepts that and will give you medication to help you deal with it.

Some doctors have no clue about how PMS can really affect a womans life. If I were you I would find a specalised clinic as plantlady has suggested. Good luck and be well.
