I notice there is a lot of people suffering from PMS here and I got some help looking into the fact that my hormones could be imbalanced. I had a blood test done and it showed my progesterone was very low and began using a natural progesterone cream. Many of my symptoms got better but not all. I think those of you suffering should do a search on the net for one or the other dominance to see if you fit the profile. Some information varies from site to site so don't get discourages.
The problem I experience during my PMS weeks is that my bowels won't move and I get constant irritation in my right rib area. Trapped gas. Taking ibuprofen helps get myself pooping again, but I haven't found what is going on with trapped gas and this irritation in my ribs. Gets so bad it bothers my eyes and I can't think. Brain goes dead. When my period is over my symptoms clear up for 1 week. I feel normal 1 week out of the month!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I went to the gyn yesterday...because I have had cervical dysplasia and had to get a check up. I told her about it. Anyway, while she was doing my internal, she could tell that my estrogen was spiked. I had just finished my period. She ordered progesterone cream for me. Hoping that helps. Most of the month, I am am mess. I never know how I am going to feel. It's awful. I have trouble passing stools the week before too...and have terrible stomach pains. After (or during all of this anxious stuff...I am able to pass). This month, I have had heart palpitations a few times a day..or flip flops. I am hoping that the cream helps. At least we are getting to the bottom of it. We have to be our own advocates. My doctors always look at me like I am crazy..or a hypochondriac. I am glad that someone is taking me seriously.
