Hi. I do not have PTSD, I have autism. I was wondering, though, if anyone on here has a service dog for PTSD. I am currently training a service dog for myself for autism. I just want to know if anyone knows how certain tasks are trained for PTSD service dogs, like standing in front of handler to block people from getting too close, or watching behind handler so no one comes up behind too fast. If anyone on this site has a service dog for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, is there any way you may be able to help me out? Any tips for training these tasks? I feel these tasks would help me out because I can get very upset and overstimulated if strangers are too close to me.
Thank you! =D
