My son went through a short period of time after some stressful situations, where he was "seeing" things. The doctors and psychiatrists checked him out and said it was anxiety produced, and not psychosis or schizophrenia.
Can this be a symptom of PTS?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Pdocs use to misdiagnose a lot of abuse survivors as schizophrenics. That still happens but not as often as it used to.
So yes delusions can be a symptom of PTSD. More common than most people realize.

He saw a dragon that scared him, and that was the one that we finally got in to see the doctor with.
I felt terrible cuz when he first was telling me I didn't understand....and didn't take him seriously
