Well, they're back again. (I guess I knew they would be after I put my thoughts down in black and white!) The dreams aren't about that specific day though. . . they are jumbled experiences, a collection of times that he either beat me, raped me, or threatened to do both. I can feel him on top of me and I start to panic and gasp for air as if he is REALLY there. Or I wake up in pain; either my wrists, thighs or even between my legs (I actually have to check to make sure I'm not bleeding to convince myself it was a dream.) Its almost like a phantom pain that amputee patients experience when a limb is cut-off (they can still feel it there and they feel the pain). Do you think it is normal that these "dreams" are so vivid, so long after the actual experience? I would really like to know your opinions. Thanks for listening, again. (See " a piece of my story" in the rape community if you need more info for this to make sense.
