I'm reading a book at the moment called "women who hurt themselves" it has been an extremely insightful book. TRS is "Traumatic re-enactment Sydrome". It talks about all sorts of things we do to our bodies that are harmful such as smoking, drugs, alcohol, cutting, eating disorders, etc. I'd like to encourage anyone who is struggling with some form of self harm whatever it is to research this. I have found it extremely helpful and it has given me some understanding of why i relapse in self harm all the time. Let me know your thoughts about it or if you find out anymore info on it.
