I don't know about anyone else but this time of the year just kills me. I am so glad I have my shopping already done. The malls are just packed with people which just drives up my anxiety etc. So this year I came up with a plan and that was to purchase all Xmas stuff the first week of Dec or before so I made my list checked it twice and went to the stores early in the morning so I would not have to put up with people standing in front of me holding conversations and blocking the way because they are to stupid to stand to the side. I don't have to put up with over crowded parking lots and finding a cart to use. I don't have to go to 5 stores to find something that has been sold out in all the others. Now if I can just wrap all this stuff I'm set. Maybe next year I will aim for 3 week of Nov. It certainly has taken alot of stress of me this year as I was a constant procrastinator as I just did not want to go out. Does anyone else have ill feelings towards the overcrowded malls etc?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
As you can see I feel the same way.I shopped online for everything!I just wish I didn't have to go for groceries.
I don't like the crowds either, it ticks me off. The ding a ling people that come out of their houses this time of year in swarms...the traffic...Yeah, the no carts...I walked into Wal-Mart last week, with 2 kids and a load of crap to get...and NO CARTS...Who is running this store, where are the cart boys? This should NEVER happen.
Those are things that go through my mind...then the boxes that block the aisles...UGH.
I want in and out...no oogling things, then I want plenty of check-out people...which is hard to find, esp at Wal-Mart.
I get irritated at how business are run, at people in the way...then I get frustrated myself, and start barging through, and even mutter crap of how irritated I am....
Luckily, my DH does a lot of the shopping, but I miss picking out my kids presents.
Don't have a lot of time left to shop together. Last year was hard for us to go together to get shopping done w/o kids. Just seemed like everyone was too busy to watch them, and we had to hide toys under coats...not a way I want to shop this year.
And Daisy my walmart here is the same way NO carts , No checkers and people that push you out of the way.
Maybe she will if I end up doing that again!I almost think that some of these people only eat at this time of year. The crowds and the rude behavior all in the name of peace on earth, and " goodwill " towards man!Really puts me in a " giving " mood lol.
