I am a believer that how we handle our bad days are more important than the good days. The bad days offer more room for healing.
On the bad days we need to summon our positive nature and let the negative stuff slide. The negative is contagious and grows out of control if you feed it.
Bad days offer us an opportunity to observe and understand our triggers. Did you know that the amydala is where our body stores our trauma. It bypasses the conscious mind. It is not available or accessible to the conscious mind. It stores it as it happens at the time of the trauma. So if your trauma is from childhood it stored the trauma like you were 5 or 10 years old. You can see a trauma at ten might not be a trauma now but the amgdala does not know this.
You need to connect with the amygdala to dissipate the emotion.
