My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a year. I went to a new doctor today to see if they had any idea what could be going on. She told me that based on my symptoms, she believes I have PCOS. I'm waiting for tests to come back but she's pretty certain this is the issue. She's put me on Prometrium for now, and in a few weeks I'll start on Metformin and possibly clomid. I just want to know what to expect. Does it get better? What works? What doesn't? Am I the only who feels defective? I really need some support from people who actually understand. Please help...
