I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was about 12. I was VERY overweight, and had a period about every 2 or 3 months. When I was 14, I lost about 80 pounds (low-carb diet), and got down to a healthy weight for the very first time in my whole life. My periods were back to normal, and I was happy and loving life. Now I am 21, and I have still maintained that healthy weight, but the symptoms of PCOS are creeping up again. I spot/bleed for about 20 days of the month, and I have seen a doctor, but I am emotionally having a lot of problems right now. I have no idea where to turn for emotional support, and I cry every night because no one in my life seems to understand what I am going through. I know no one with PCOS personally, and it is so hard to deal with. Ladies, please help me!
