They also wanted to give me clomid for 3 months without monitoring me. After the first round I had a large cyst within a cyst and felt discouraged that I was not going to be monitored.
I now go to an RE and they are more knowledgable, they are more sincere, and they have better equipment in the office.
It is a personal choice and largely plays a role in where you go and what stage you are in. I felt I was going nowhere with my OBGYN and they never remembered me from one visit to the next. It was not fun.
I recommend skipping past trial and error with the OB and go right to the RE.
