I was talking to my doc today about getting a new pet and was asking him what was safe as far as a cat, ferret, and bearded dragon. He said I can get the cat tested for toxoplasmosis and if it never goes outside it is safe to change the litter box and the same with the ferret. Does anyone know about the bearded dragons. I hear lizards can carry salmonilia (sp?) but he said he would check and we would discuss it at my next appointment. But that is a month away and I don't want to wait. Thanks ahead for the advice.
