I'm not sure if anyone here has been aware of this but I was reading an article about PCOS and natural ways to beat the disorder. My doctor told me that PCOS is pretty much an early stage of Diabetes, so she ordered that I start treating my body as though I had already been diagnosed with Diabetes. Whole grain foods are a GREAT way to naturally regulate your cycles and stop some of the effects of PCOS. The way it was explained to me is like this: Insulin from the food we eat floats in the blood and circulates back into the ovaries which causes annovulation (no ovulating) and because there's no ovulation, your hormones begin to drop and everything else begins to go wrong.
