Hi,
I\'m have Factor V (Five) Leiden. I take asperin (which can make a person cold). I am also on Metformin. I\'m also sleepy sometimes (even before I started Metformin). I have no idea when I should worry about latic... Today, I feel like I\'m going to freeze to death. I feel that way sometimes. So, I would never know when I should worry. I\'m wearing a turtle neck sweater with a zip up fleeze and I\'m still cold. I\'m indoors. Everyone else is comfortable. How would I ever know when I should worry?
Thanks.

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
1 thing I would throw out there is that \"cold intolerance\" is a classic sign of hypothyroidism..or underactive thyroid.
Have your doc make sure youve been screened for thyroid disease with simple blood tests.
Dr O.
Turns out, I have Hoshimoto Thyroiditis that's causing me to be so cold. And, of course, that's from PCOS. I tried the Metformin, but my stomach couldn't handle the pain. I can't be put on any birth control because I also have Factor V Leiden (a blood clotting disorder). So, Right now, I'm not on anything to help with my PCOS.
Thanks for you help.
I also have PCOS and just recently got checked for underactive thyroid. I take Metormin. But she also added Actos which she said would help with my PCOS. It seems to balance everything out. I'm not having as many problems now. Maybe ask your doctor about it?
