I was wondering... Is it possible that I caused this myself? I started using birth control pills when I was a junior in high school. However, I smoked the entire time. Is it possible that it was some type of reaction for my smoking? I know it says not to smoke while taking it, but well addiction is addiction. And I was young and stupid. My periods were a lot more regulated when I was on birth control (only coming late every once in a while) but I stopped taking them my sophomore year of college because I couldn't afford them anymore. Does anyone know if smoking while taking the pill is really that bad?
