i agree with Jakeswife. If you get a positive and its not clear, try and test again with a new test. Maybe dip in a cup instead. Thats what i do.

I have done 2 both positive one each way

LOL thats what happened to me. I took a test and it was a faint positive. So i was in total shock and didnt believe that it could be positive. I called a friend she said it looks like you peed on the stick to long. So I thought just to make sure I would dip the next test, and positive again. Than i took another still positive. Finally a friend stopped by and said stop wasting your money. If the hormone is NOT there you would NOT get a positive. I am 10 weeks pregnant. So all I can say to you is CONGRATULATIONS!!!
