today i had my hysterosalpingogram (a dye test that they do to see if your fallopian tubes are open) and OH MY GOSH it was so painful!!! they didn't even tell me when they were inflating the balloon that caused all of the pain and cramping so all of a sudden i was hit with this wave of terrible pain! i know that the end result, having a baby, is worth it; but oh my gosh that was terrible!! they also were using a speculum that was too short at first and hurt when they opened it, so they had to get a longer one. on the way home i was in tears, gripping my seat in car. the pain did go away about an hour later. but i just wanted to share that little experience. have a nice evening everybody! :)

That does sound painful! I had exploratory surgery where they did the same thing, but I was kept under. Now experiencing contractions hard and fast after given pitocin, THAT was painful...but worth it. So, pain - I get it and empathize!! So were the tubes clear?? Many hugs!

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
