Has anybody had success with using cinnamon supplements? I have read many articles on this and several people said the use a lower dose of metformin in combination with the cinnamon supplements.
After a brief break from the metformin, I am back on it and dread all of the side affects. I only got up to 2000 mg a day before we stopped, and the doctor said that was a low dose. I was having a lot of nausea and intestinal issues, we are going to try to increase the doses more slowly this time and I am only starting at 500 mg a day. I am taking the extended release, but it is not a capsule form, it is the generic.

I have not personally but a friend of mine takes them for her PCOS, the cinnamon supplement tablets. She swears that they are helping her blood sugars. She has lowered her Met she takes. So it must do something good for her at least.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
