i wrote on here last year asking for details bout it ... ive had my hysterosalpingram .. and said i would let people know how it was .. and everything .. so here i am ... firstly its a joke .. you have to have it between day 6 and 10 of your period .. and when you get the letter you have 5 weeks to book it ... omg!! like im that lucky .. this time i was right on que to get it done with aunt flo showed up ... you get given tablets to get before hand and take with you ... and these can have side affects ... for me . i had none ... anyway you go to the appointment and a nurse explains it to you .. and asks you if you have any questions .. you then get dressed in a a gown .. oh my god so awful dont know who invented these things .. anyway you go through to the room .. get told to lay with one arm over you .. then its time .. they give you a quick clean .. insert the spectrum .. and a little tube with a tiny balloon on the end .. once its in you womb they insert the dye ... poistion the x ray take a few pic .. move the tube then take a few more pic .. then its all done .. takes bout 5 - 10 mins ... afterwards they roll your bed to the recovery room and tell you to take the tablets you should of brought with you .. and give you a pad to stick between your legs as the dye starts to come out .. once your feeling up to it and they know your ok .. you can dress and leave ...with the advice sheet ... like not to have unprotected sex till your next period.. extreme blooding to go to hospital... for me personnaly .. twhen they were doing the hysterosalpingogram it was quite painfull .. you can feel the dye and everything .. but not so painful you cry or anything .. afterwards for bout 24 hours ... its like extreme period pains .. and their is a slight bit of bleeding to go with .. but you would want to wear a pad anyway as some dye does come out to .. and its not important i know .. but extra bit of detail .. the ye is clear .. so dont worry your have blue red whatever colour you were expecting over you... also you must have someone with you to take you home as you shouldnt drive or use public transport alone ... i hope that this helps some one on here .. and anymore questions if i have forgotten to put something pls just ask

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
