I've been diagnosed with PCOS, and I'm going back on Monday to review all of my blood work. My doc has said he will more than likely start me on Metformin and Clomid. From what I have read on here...most people seem to be on Metformin long before they are told they can start trying to conceive. Should I be alarmed that he is wanting to put me on the Met and fertility drugs at the same time? Also, I'm trying to find info on the Met, and the only thing I'm getting is that if I don't take the Met while I'm pregnant, I will have gestational diabetes, but if I do take it, they don't know what the effects on the babies are. I'm so confused. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
