When I first got the dx when I was 15 or 16 (now 23), I was given an ultrasound and was told I had no cysts at all (my symptoms were lack of periods, acne, whacked out hormone imbalance). I've never had extraordinarily painful periods or heavy bleeding (since then have been on BCP). My most recent visit to the new OB/GYN, who actually addressed my condition for the first time in several years, at the same time did the pap and an exam, and said everything was fine. I'm just curious how many of you have the dx of PCOS but have been told you don't actually have cysts. I've been told that the syndrome is poorly named, because it's not really necessary for someone with the dx to have cysts...but I'm worried that it should be something to check up on. Do I need to ask my doctor to check again for cysts? Does it matter? Tell me all about cysts!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
