I'm new here, just barely being diagnosed with PCOS (it took my doctor a lot of convincing to finally grant me the diagnosis!) My sister has it, I have all the classic symptoms. I have had two kids but they both passed away from either a brain defect or heart defect. We have been trying for a year, but since I really need to lose weight and I have heard that losing weight can help you get pregnant, I am getting healthy first. I have started an HCG diet and have lost seven pounds in the first week. Once I lose a sufficient amount of weight, my doctor is going to put me on Clomid. He wants me on metformin, but it gives me HORRIBLE stomach issues, so I am going to wait since the diet does not allow pretty much any sugar. Glad to find a place of women who understand. I live in the baby-making capitol of the world, and it is really hard when you've been pregnant for a year and a half and have had to say goodbye to both of your babies. And then a year of no luck, it wears on the soul. But I have faith things will go right for us, it is just going to take time!
