I am just curious because they are in the 3rd phase of the trials for the drug Tolvaptan and I got a letter about trying to join the trials. I sent in all my paper work and now I am just waiting and I wondered if anyone else is trying to get on the trails? They "fast-tracked" the trails and it looks really promising. The drug is being used currently for CHF (congestive heart failure) so they know the effects of it, just need enough proof I think to let them use it for PKD. The closest trial to me is a couple hours away but I would drive to another state if they can help me feel better.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
