Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Do the abusers have an affinity for Christmas...I mean do they put their misery away for this one day? I find it interesting that they may have one or two soft spots....!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I used to take my hubby with me and we would spend the night and open gifts the next day. He can be a real pain, but he always tried to be nice to her. Anyway, at breakfast a couple of years ago on Christmas day she made this really hot sausage for breakfast. Everyone had left the table except for me (and I was finished), her and my hubby. Hubby's nose started literally running down his face after he ate a piece of the sausage and he quickly grabbed a napkin. My mother dropped her fork loudly onto her plate, made her most offended face and as cruelly as she could said, "I think you need to leave my table. You are not welcome here if you must act like that." Hubby went to the store and bought cigarettes and then came back long enough for me to throw my bags in and us leave. Since then every year she tries to make me feel guilty about him not wanting to come up there for Christmas (I don't even ask him to) and me for wanting to spend that day with him instead of her. She tried to do it again just a few days ago, only this time it made me angry as well as hurt.
