I was attacked by my boyfriend earlier this year- an ambulance luckily past by at the time of the attack and took me to hospital. The police asked me questions when i got to the hospital and i had told them that he was trying to strangle me to death when an ambulance passed by and he ran away. I never heard much from the police after and it seems that he got away with it.
I heard a few weeks later that he had been arrested for doing something worse to another young lady, why did they let it get so bad?
I know that he isn't in jail and seems to have got away with such crimes. Has anyone else experienced problems with getting justice on those who destroy others?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The biggest problem with these types of crimes is with no witnesses it falls onto the he said she said. But when there is a trend and documentation of criminal behavior like in the two statements made by two different people that does make a difference alot of times. I would definately call the legal department in your area to see what can be done to bring a conviction this time.
It happened in March of this year and i guess i was just unlucky. It's just that i fear he will get me again, after all, he didn't finish the "job"
