I bought a new cool cotton dress yesterday for our hot sticky tropical weather. Camisole type top, shoestring straps, light red tartan check, loose and floaty knee length skirt on it, a couple of pockets with small red bows. A bit of a retro style which is all the thing here for the younger set. I wondered if it was a bit of a young style for me but decided it was so right for the climate that it was ok. So, I just got told by the ex who I am supporting over Christmas, and in front of a mutual male friend that I look really old in this dress. I didn't ask for an opinion and I certainly didn't want to be embarrassed in front of anyone. Poof goes my good mood and my feeling good about having a new dress even though I knew that's what he intended. But of course he was only joking, hehehe. NOT! This is from a man that walks around in dirty t-shirts, work shorts, red working boots, unshaven, with a fred dagg hat. Why am I still upset by it?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
