I have definitely been emotionally abused and am on week 2 on NC. I write on this thing about twice a day (in case anybody hasn't noticed and hasn't gotten sick of me already) and I bought 2 books about verbal abuse. Do I need a therapist? Can I get through this on my own without one? Some days I think I'm fine then I have major relapses. Good day, bad day, ect. How important is it to have a therapist? Do you all have one? Has it helped? Do you need a specific kind?
