My son hates to see his dad. My daughter loves to see her dad, but is afraid of him. Currently he has supervised visits up to 2X / week for 2hrs / visit. He only sees them at most once a week. my son is usually bored during these visits and feels ignored because stbx spends most of his time playing with daughter. My son resents having to go waste his time. My daughter says she only feels safe because the supervisor is there and still not entirely safe. My son is 12 and my daughter is 7. My daughter is very unreliable about what she will say because she has a mood disorder. But my son is very consistent in his pleas to not have to see his dad - ever. So, what age do they have to be (especially son) before their desires are considered in divorce? STBX filed but no court date in sight. Any idea? Does it vary by state? live in Iowa.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
