Last week, we took Ruckus to the specialist in Santa Fe. It was discovered that he has multiple fractures as I have mentioned before. The vet injected the shoulder with some type of steroid that will last 3-6 months. It must be working because tonight when I went to feed him, he was kicking up his heals and moving about his pen. Not fast, but moving and walking and actually kicking. He has not been able to walk for two months, but today, he is more like his old self. Not quite there, but getting there.
