Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.

I am new in this community, just joined just now. Anyhow, I lost one of my cats yesterday. She was hit by a car and my neighbor, who happens to be an asst at my vets office and was on her way to work, found her and took her to work and they had to put her to sleep. I was out of town and my hubby was at work. She was my G aunts cat and all I had left of her that was still alive! We have to go positively identify her body today. I am really looking forward to that.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
