Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site. I just lost my beloved dog a short while ago. I miss him terribly!!! It hurts more than I ever realized. He was with me for alost half of my life. I feel like there is a huge hole inside me. The strange thing is, I keep hearing him all over the house. Sometimes I swear I have caught glimpes of him. Am I imagining things or is this possible?
Please some help me deal with losing him, no one seems to understand my pain. I need people who actually GET it!
Thanx, Rang

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
and yes he is with you. and i have the same thing happen to me.. i've heard her and caught some glimps of her as well..
some people don't understand how people go through when they lose a pet..
he is always with you in your heart. and you are very lucky to be able to still be able to hear him..
The Rainbow Bridge
*******************************There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills, and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! And this one suddenly runs from the group! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

I do believe your dog is still with you, as mine is with me.
