The love of my life passed away on June 29, 2006. He was a black Standard Poodle named Poozle. Despite the name he took his job as a Poodle very seriously. I noticed one day that Poozle was looking a little thin so I took him to the vet. The vet was very suprised by his weight loss, he had went from 60lbs to 44 lbs, however he was not unhealty in any other way. He ran some tests and called me with the bad news the next day. His liver was failing. For the next two weeks I had to give him fluids interveinsoly (sp?) Two weeks to the day after the vet visit Poozle passed away in may arms. Nobody had any idea of why this happened. He was only 9 which is very young for a Standard Poodle. A few weeks later all of the reports came out about the "bad" dog food. I now believe Poozle died as a result of "bad" dog food. Please be careful about what you feed your dogs. I now have PJ (Poozle Junior) which is helping me with my loss, however not replacing my baby Poozle. Anyone else out there have this happen to them?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
