I admitted myself to the local psych ward last Wednesday with suicidal ideations. I was released yesterday and started IOP today. After 28 years of therapy, I came out with three diagnoses of which I was aware (like I haven't had a bazillion in 28 years): major depressive disorder, PTSD and BPD. The #1 on Axis I was Bipolar II, which was brand new. I'm new to this site and this community, neither of which I even knew existed before today. I need friends - I tend to be agoraphobic and the few friends that I DO have are really NOT equipped to understand what I'm going through. So...hello, and thank you for being here. (Heavy sigh of relief.)

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I was nearly admitted to hospital for the same reason by my parents. Its good you tried to get the help. My friends is agoraphobic and I know she finds it really hard. I am here if you ever want to chat, just email me. I hope you are ok! Love Jules x
I have been admitted to the mental hospitals several times. Each time only made things worse for me since I'm agoraphobic. I have 9 diagnoses, as well as several physical illnesses.
I'm glad you took the time to reach out to find others you share something in common with.
PM me if you want to talk about anything. I don't leave the house often, so I spend a lot of my time here, whenever I'm not working out, sleeping, or reading.
