I'm only 27, but since sometime in September, I've been having hot flashes when I'm tired. Sometimes my whole face flushes, which is embarassing. The first time it happened, I was working and I told the the woman I was ringing up at the register, "Oh my, I'm flushed!" and she practically shouted, "You're having a hot flash!" She seemed excited, but I wanted to slap her. I get really, really irritable and almost mean when it happens too. I had my hormones checked in September and the doc said that wasn't it, but I'm wondering if maybe it was too soon? The doctor was sort of an ass and I'd like a second opinion anyway. So even though I'm young, can I possibly be going through perimenopause?
