My husband (now 35) had slight hand tremors starting 6-7 yrs ago. They progressively got worse/more frequent until last year when he had to temporarily go off of his blood pressure medication. About 2 wks. after this he started having tremors and muscle spasms/cramps on his left side. (This also affected his facial muscles.) He would "space out" and be unresponsive. I thought he had a stroke and took him to the E.R. Of course they admitted him but found (after 4 days of MRIs and other tests) that he had not had a stroke and could not tell me what was wrong. They put him back on blood pressure meds and released him. Since that time the tremors and spasms are now affecting both sides, although the left side is still slightly worse. He can usually function normally during the day as long as he "takes it easy". His symptoms start usually in the evening.(Heat, too much walking, strenuous activity, etc. brings on his simptoms.) He has still not been diagnosed. (We do not have health insurance but have applied for an indigent program in our county.) I'm just wondering if this sounds familiar. Are these also typical symptoms? How early can sympoms start? (We first noticed the hand tremor when he was 29.) I know this is not a "typical" disease. But, I need to prepare myself and our children for this diagnosis. (Or possibly another.)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
